Welcome to my website I am Stuart James a PhD student at the University of Surrey. I love programing and am a recent Computer Science with Games Development graduate from the University of Hull. This site is my doodle pad so please don't expect it to be all neat and tidy and also contains a lot of comments about me companies and the universe. BMVA AVA - Biological and Computer Vision

Today I attended my first workshop, that was a joint workshop for collaboration between the Biological and Computer vision community. The workshop went well, lots of people to talk to and lots of interest in my current work, exploring Semantic Sketch based video retrieval.

Is now a PhD Student!

Today I did my transfer viva, to transfer me from MPhil to PhD. Now the only thing stopping me is my final  thesis and viva!
